These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between MWP Aviation CC t/a Learn 2 Fly (“Learn 2 Fly” or “the ATO”) and all students (“Student”) enrolled in flight training programmes offered by Learn 2 Fly.
By enrolling in any training programme, the Student agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Learn 2 Fly Training Procedures Manual (TPM), and all applicable South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations, including the Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs) and Civil Aviation Technical Standards (CATS).
All training provided by Learn 2 Fly is conducted under the approval of the South African Civil Aviation Authority as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
Students must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by Learn 2 Fly and the SACAA licensing requirements for the specific training programme.
Students must complete the Learn 2 Fly enrolment documentation and provide all required supporting documentation before commencing training.
International students are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa or study permit required to legally reside and undertake training in the Republic of South Africa.
Students agree to pay all applicable training fees including aircraft rental, instructor fees, briefing fees, examination fees, SACAA licensing fees and landing or navigation fees where applicable.
Training is conducted on a prepaid account basis. Students must maintain sufficient funds in their account before conducting training activities.
Refunds, where applicable, will be subject to administrative deductions in terms of clause 3.3.1 and the cost of any training already completed.
As MWP Aviation CC t/a Learn 2 Fly is a registered South African business, VAT and other applicable taxes may already have been accounted for and paid to SARS on amounts received.
Visa Refusal (International Students): Refunds may be granted where a visa application has been refused, provided official proof of refusal is submitted and administrative deductions in terms of clause 3.3.1 are applied.
Medical Certificate Failure: If a student is unable to obtain or maintain the required SACAA aviation medical certificate, refunds may be subject to administrative deductions in terms of clause 3.3.1 and the cost of training already conducted.
Should the Student cancel their training or request a refund of funds held in their student account, Learn 2 Fly may deduct an administrative and cancellation fee of up to 35% (thirty-five percent) of the remaining unused balance. This fee covers costs already incurred by Learn 2 Fly in reserving aircraft, instructors and training resources, together with banking, administrative and tax costs. The balance, less the cost of any training already completed, will be refunded within 30 days of written request to the account from which payment was made.
Students must complete all required flight documentation after each flight including the aircraft flight folio.
Training schedules may be affected by weather, aircraft maintenance, instructor availability, air traffic control restrictions, airspace limitations or SACAA regulatory requirements.
Learn 2 Fly reserves the right to adjust training prices where necessary due to operational cost increases including fuel price fluctuations.
Student account credit will remain valid for 36 months from the date of the last training activity.
Students are responsible for maintaining satisfactory progress in their training programme including theoretical examinations and practical flight exercises.
Learn 2 Fly cannot guarantee the issuance of any licence, rating or certificate. Licensing is solely the responsibility of the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
Accommodation may be offered to students subject to availability. Separate accommodation rules and agreements may apply.
Students must conduct themselves professionally at all times and comply with Learn 2 Fly safety procedures, operational instructions, and SMS requirements.
Aviation training involves inherent risks. Learn 2 Fly shall not be liable for injury, loss, or training delays except where caused by proven negligence.
Students are strongly advised to obtain adequate medical, travel, and personal liability insurance coverage.
Learn 2 Fly reserves the right to suspend or terminate training where students fail to comply with policies, safety procedures, financial obligations or immigration requirements.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
